Rendering Overview
Rendering can be done many different ways using a variety of programs to help achieve the destined look. Here I wanted to show how conceptual renderings can be implemented through Manual designing, exportation, sketching, and/or AI. Many of my renderings are a transformation of what I manually designed.
Objectives
- To show how a sketch/idea can be transformed into a better more realistic concept
- To Create Options for clients who love the structure but want a different material selection
- To transform how we see objects, texture, lighting
- To Create Prototypes of what can turn into an Architectural Animation or 3D prototype
Approach
Program Phase
- What Program should be used for your rendering?
- What type of rendering style do you want?
- Can Augmented Reality be used in the process of creating your rendering?
Rendering Strategy
- What time of the day is it for your Rendering?
- What Views are getting Rendered? (elevations/floorplans/perspective/isometric view)
- Do you need a Rendered walkthrough of the space?
Sketchup
- Sketchup to AI
- Sketchup to Blender
- Product/Building/Easier Import into EASE for calculations
Revit
- Revit to AI
- Revit to Blender
- Revit to twinmotion
- Product/Building/BIM designing
